These bars add protection for the hardware that holds your skid plate/cross member at the mid point of your rig between the frame rails.
This is where your 4 link arms connect to the frame. In addition to protection these bars add yet more weight at a very low point on the crawler. This keeps your center of gravity and slightly shifted forward.
These fit on Axial SCX24's and also work well with the HR skid plate and 4 link bars.
